Sony PXW-X160

Een XDCAM camcorder die naast MPEG HD 422, de TV standaard, ook op kan nemen in de nieuwe XAVC-Intra codec van Sony in 10 bit met bitrates tot wel 112 Mbps! Met zijn 3 1/3’’ CMOS sensoren is de X160 de spirituele opvolger van de PMW-150. Maar in tegenstelling tot de PMW-150, die een 20x optische zoom heeft, heeft de X160 een 25x optische zoom met een 35mm equivalent van wel 26 tot 650mm.
