Sony HXR-MC2500
De Sony HXR-MC2500 is een schoudercamera met 32GB ingebouwd flash geheugen, een microfoon en een lamp. Ideaal voor een lange draaidag waar je flexibel moet zijn zoals trouwerijen of andere evenementen. De MC2500 neemt in Full HD op in de AVCHD-codec (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264). Deze codec heeft weinig effect op de kwaliteit van de beelden, terwijl er wel een sterke compressie plaatsvindt. Zo kan je zo'n 180 minuten film in de hoogste kwaliteit kwijt op een 32GB geheugenkaart. In SD neemt de MC2500 op in de DV AVI-codec, in tegenstelling tot andere camera's die in SD opnemen in de MPEG-2 codec gebruikt de MC2500 dezelfde codec als Mini DV-tapes, deze heeft een stuk minder compressie en wordt door meer edit-suites gelezen.
